The topic question is substantially different from the poll question.

To answer the topic question, no. I wanted Hillary to run and I'm glad she has. The strongest candidate we could've ran has been unfortunately barred by the 22nd Amendment. However, I have no idea what the Republican field would have looked like if President Obama was able to run for a third term. The fact that Hillary Clinton should be winning by at least 15-20 points says little about her. It says everything about the idiocy of a massive number of largely uneducated and unknowledgeable Americans. Donald Trump was not joking when he said he loves the uneducated. They are his base and are unfortunately far too common in this country.

I can't imagine why anyone who has an interest in beating Trump wouldn't have preferred a competent candidate jump in.

No I don't regret it at all. She's running a good campaign.

No.  The Dems have a pretty shallow presidential bench at the moment.  No matter who wins in November, they really need to start raising the profiles of more people.

Yes, I certainly do. Indeed, Joe Biden would have probably been a better candidate for the Democrats in 2016.

Who exactly could they have run who is younger with less baggage but already nationally known and well-respected?
Joe Biden?

Yes, but no such candidate exists, so I voted no.
Joe Biden?
