Biden - His son, the state Attorney General, Beau Biden. If the GOP somehow wins the Gubernatorial race then who knows? Mike Castle maybe?

Obama - Who knows? I heard that they want Iraq war veteran and 2006 Congressional candidate Tammy Duckworth.

McCain - Another "who knows?" especially since Napolitano needs to pick a Republican. Who knows how she'll be thinking?

Biden - Beau Biden or the loser of the gubernatorial primary (John Carney or Jack Markell).

Obama - Lisa Madigan or Jesse Jackson Jr.

McCain - a seat-warmer like Kolbe.

Biden - Beau Biden, no questions asked.  If he is in Iraq, another Democrat that I can't say who.  Unless of course a Republican wins the Gov race (I have no idea about it) in that case probably Castle is the next senator.

Obama - If Blago appoints probably Tammy Duckworth.  I could also see IL Dems wanting to keep a black senator and going with Jesse Jackson Jr.

McCain - J.D. Hayworth Smiley

I'd love to see Rahm Emmanuel take Obama's place in the Senate, although he seems making good time moving up in the House.

That'd be great, but I doubt it.  He's young enough to likely be Speaker, so I doubt he gives that up.

This is considered to be a serious trial balloon by some, including top IL political blogger Rich Miller.
