Thanks guys for all the accolades, probably mostly undeserved.  Except for BRTD's comment about my sucky political analysis -- he is SO right.

But hey, I picked Richard Lugar to win his last race for Senate correctly.  Of course, he was effectively unopposed...but hell...I'm claiming that as correct!

In a perverse way, I am glad for a couple of HP votes.  If everyone said FF, I would probably be worried about being the number one Atlas ass-kisser than anything else.  But really, aside from one or two folks (Stark comes to mind), I like everyone here. Just don't ask me to kiss anything. ;-)

FF, approve of him on a personal level. He's pretty down to earth but our politics are completely foreign from each other. And I like to see left wing Christians, I respect that.

Aw, yer just bein' nice because I was rooting for the Rays after beating the Sox!  LOL

Hey -- what's up with Pena?  He is ripping it up.  I remember when Detroit and some other teams thought he was done for good.  Someone in Tampa Bay knows what they are doing!

He is to the left of obama.  Not too bright of a guy when it comes to politics.

Thanks.  Both statements are probably true.

Nonsense JS as to the political acuity issue; just ignore those who suggest otherwise. I know the truth, and that is all that matters.  Tongue  Now, you are no Lunar, but then neither am I. Who is? Smiley

He is one mighty sharp guy, isn't he?  As to my own political chops, I am extremely confident in my positions and decision.  My analysis leaves much to be desired.  Mainly because I can allow either pessimism or optimism to color it. I'm still gobsmacked over Indiana.
