I am supporting Biden, of course, but I will not be surprised if he loses. I don't think that we'll know the winner until after the polls start closing, regardless of what the polls indicate.

Edit: also will you be surprised if your candidate wins?

I am supporting Biden, and I will not be surprised or shocked if he loses, nor if he wins. I have some faith in the American people as a whole, although I expect Republicans are a lost cause.

What would shock me is if Republicans turned their backs on Trump at any point before or after the election. (To clarify, I think the chances of Republicans doing anything other than formally damning themselves on July 18th, 2024, are approximately zero.)

Yes.

Biden can’t win with his approvals in the 30s.

When I was an undergrad, one of my political science professors said don’t pay attention to the head to head as cable news and the media want horse race journalism…. But rather pay attention to job approvals, as there’s a strong correlation.

Joe can’t win.
