Sherlock Holmes - awesome.  Downey was great, like always, and the plot was entertaining.

We're scheduling Family Movie Night as we speak!  Wink

If you think your daughter is old enough, see Sherlock Holmes.  It was really great.

Avatar - the graphics were awesome.  The story, though, was extreme, taking the worst possible views of the military and corporations.  It seemed kind of preachy, but good overall.

The Wolfman - pretty good overall; it could have used more wolf relayed violence, though.

It was on TV.

The Ugly Truth - utterly predictable, but at least Heigl is hot.

Kick-Ass - awesome.  Everything about it was amazing; Cage was awesome, and so were all of the kids.

Shutter Island - prett cool; the plot twist wasn't totally unexpected.

Shrek: The Final Chapter - Wow.  This movie was absolutely amazing.  It was nothing but laughs from start to finish, and a really great way to finish the series.  I loved it.

Finish?

There'll be more Shrek movies.

Nah, this is the last one.

Really? I liked the first two, but was extremely disappointed with the third installment.

Yeah, the third one was bad, but this is much better.  The only reason it isn't better than 1 or 2 is because those movies are so great.

After being disappointed by The Wedding Crashers, I've passed on seeing The Hangover.

I absolutely love both of those movies.  The Hangover was absolutely awesome, and so was The Wedding Crashers.  I couldn't stop laughing during both of those.

Toy Story 3 - amazing beyond words.  It made me cry at the end, but it was still incredible.  I like the other two better, but this was still a 9.9/10.

500 Days of Summer - good, funny movie; not as great as some people had said, but a perfectly good movie.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1) - holy fucking shit.  That movie was amazing.  As a longtime fan of the series, books and movies, this one had everything.  The actors were great, I thought it had good pacing, everything was excellent.  I can't wait to see it in IMAX.

I am hoping to be the first person on the forum to see Black Swan. Opens here Friday.

Just saw it.  I'm still not sure how I feel about it.
