Longtime liberal San Francisco congresswoman and former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has been the House Democratic Leader since 2002. She is expected to retire from office by 2020 at least. With once-future successor Maryland congressman Chris Van Hollen running for the Senate Who will be the next House Democratic Leader, once Pelosi retires? Steny Hoyer? James Clyburn? Ruben Gallego? Xavier Becerra?

You're probably right on Hoyer. He may retire by 2020 like Pelosi. What about Clyburn?
