My view is that they're a heck of a lot better than the laws in my barbarous nation. They may not be ideal, but they're a Western laws that significantly restrict abortion, and for that I am glad.

What would you prefer? I quite like them as is.

Canada has no legal restrictions on abortion currently. I'd love to have something closer to American laws. However, the best I can see happening realistically is something like the UK regime with only late-term abortions banned.
