We can all hope that America would never stoop that low.

Are we talking about the very same nation who elected George W. Bush to two terms in office by any chance?
And his fellow Satanist father to one.

W is a good Christian and a man of faith.

May we always have a person of faith leading the nation.

America is seriously overdue for an atheist President, I'm absolutely sure of it...

Absolutely. That's why he engaged in binge drinking and cocaine parties while at Yale.

Btw, I actually looked up that Schmidt reference.

He mentions Bilderberg. And devotes several paragraphs of praise to Bohemian Grove. But doesn't even hint at the Cremation of Care. The whole chapter is actually about the decline of the role of stuff like that, and the Council for Foreign Relations, in favor of the newer partisan thinktanks, and the resulting grave loss of stability in America's foreign policy (beginning with Carter and getting even worse with Reagan - the book was written too early to take later developments into account).

America does not need some godless athiest believing he has no higher authority to answer to.

Absolutely. That's why he engaged in binge drinking and cocaine parties while at Yale.

Subsequently, Bush found God and religion, and became a devout Christian, preparing him for the Presidency.

Had he not made this change in his life, there is absolutely no way he would have become President.

A Satanist as President?

Sure, the whole country wants to see Satanic rituals carried out in the oval office.

America does not need some godless athiest believing he has no higher authority to answer to.

Yet when I see your posts it's quite obvious to that the opposite is true.  Being religious does not necessarily make for good leadership; W could've been a staunch atheist and yet he'd have still been regarded as one of the worst presidents in modern times.  Religion is not and should not be a prerequisite for high office.  Roll Eyes

Oh how I would love to see the day when an atheist (who's open about it) becomes US president, if only to see the look on your face.

The only way a satanist becomes president is if that person doesn't openly admit it, in my opinion.

We probably have as close as we'll get with Obama, Chris.  He really is the Anti-Bush in that regard.

I don't really see Obama as a santanist. He is of Muslim descent, but he is a Christian. He signed into law National Prayer Day. Obama seems to be more tolerant of other religions, but I don't see him as a satanist.

I think Obama is nonreligous, but not Atheist. I don't honestly think he concerns himself with matters of religion, unless it benefits his political career.

BTW, interesting fact, Nixon is taped saying he didn't much care for Bohemian Grove.  He said there was pretty much just a bunch of homos there and how it made him sick to his stomach.

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa. 'Splain 'dis to me. I actually had a friend who was a true Satanist, and it's impossible for any athiest to be a satanist because satanism acknowledges the existence of a god. Any true athiest would tell you that God and Satan is equally a crock of sh*t.

Most Satanists are LaVeyan Satanists, who don't believe in the existence of Satan at all as an extant power external to the Satanist, but regard him as a psychological archetype that contains within itself all the qualities they want to possess.

Explain what those two sentences are doing next to each other.
