GA-6 Special election discussion thread

I'm in the Dunwoody area, close to Perimeter mall, and I'm seeing tons of Ossoff signs on almost every residential street. This is certainly one of the friendlier parts of the district, but last year I saw maybe two non local signs the entire campaign. I'm still skeptical that he can hit 50%, and I'm still skeptical that he can win. I really struggle to see how a district containing East Cobb votes Dem, but if anyone can make that happen, it's Ossoff.

Current prediction

Ossoff - 43%
Handel - Somewhere in the 20s

Runoff

Handel - 51%
Ossoff - 49%

Decent crowd at Dunwoody library today for the last day of early voting. More diverse than I'd expected, and reasonably young. I still think ossoff loses in the runoff with 49%.

Seriously Dems, go look at your predictions in the prediction thread. Ossoff is beating the vast majority of our expectations. There's nothing to be concerned about.

I am beyond disappointed although unsurprised. It's astounding how we have an incompetent excuse for a president in the White House, and the Democrats can't get their act together. It's just loss after loss, and it's the regular citizens that suffer from it in the end. MT is their last chance to show that they can do something about it.

Calm down, this was expected! We're in a decent position for the runoff.

That's pretty ironic... it's time for us to abandon him. This is now officially a lost cause. His best, and possibly only shot was tonight, and he blew it. I wish him all the best for june, but handel will "man-handel" him pretty badly.
