BTW, it was almost exactly 4 years ago at a CNBC debate that Rick Perry had his 'oops' moment. That was probably the last straw that sunk his campaign, but by  that time he had already fallen behind due to previous poor debate performances.

BTW, at the time of that CNBC debate in early November 2011, a black man with no government experience was leading in the polls  ...

Cruz is wrong about CNBC moderators not being Republican voters, they are the epitome of GOP establishment types. If anything they are trying to help Bush and Kasich and take down Cruz, Carson and Trump

Trump is lying that he is "100% self-funding"  So far just $100k plus a loan of $1.8M which he can always just pay himself back. Vast majority of his money has come from small online donors.

Agree with Huckabee that curing cancer and other chronic diseases would be great. But I didn't hear anything about increasing spending on research to do that. Or was it just wishful thinking.

when did the debate actually start? Trump demanded only 2 hours, will he walk off stage at the 120 minute mark?

It is shocking how little Bush has talked. He knows that Rubio hurt him early on. He knows how important this debate is and yet he hasn't tried to inject himself.  Has he died a little bit inside?
