The Audtrian is in 7th on the course, so... Maybe doable.

Last podium sees a Brit and a Brazilian on ths podium, ehich is nice. Gold to Lietuva though.

Well, we cracked the top 10 both on the G-S-B and total medal counts. Behind what we're accustomed to, but certainly no disaster.

Top 10 by golds is already shown in Lewis's list; by total medals:

USA
China
Russia
Great Britain
Germany
Japan
Australia
France
South Korea
Italy

By medal points:
225 USA
197 China
155 Russia
140 Great Britain
85 Germany
67 France
66 Japan
65 Australia
62 South Korea
53 Italy

So, conclusive win to the US.

Already loving the closing ceremony. 'Our house' was an inspired choice to kick things off properly.

Fashion? Seriously?  that. Give me Kylie on a high heel or The Seekers on a thong any day.

'Happy and Glorious' games. Very appropriate.

But not the best games ever Wink

I don't think anyone is surprised. Valerie Adams must've known, but she showed great grace in receiving her silver. I feel sorry for her, but we all knew she was the real champion from the start.
