The situations are hardly comparable, and beyond that, I have time and time again condemned what the Russians are doing in Ukraine and to the Ukrainian people. My posting history reflects that. But I also take it a step further and criticize the United States for it's role in destabilizing the region. One cannot condemn Russia with a straight-face without also condemning the United States for its role in pushing Ukraine to the breaking point. And, again, the fact that the far-right is now a partner in government in Ukraine (and is trying to ban the Communist Party) is also a big factor in why I don't support that government (which is backed by the US), the corrupt government backed by the Russians, or what the Russians are doing. Not every issue has two sides.
