Giuliani 2004 TV and Radio Ad, Running in the following states

(For TV Ads, pictures and video of Ronald Reagan play during the voiceover, before switching to pictures and video of Rudy Giuliani)

In 1964 Ronald Reagan announced that it was Time for Choosing - for choosing between unlimited freedom and Democracy or authoritarianism and Communism. Some twenty years later America chose Reagan to be our President and he lead us into a period of great prosperity, happiness, and freedom. America, it's time to go back to the 1980s. It's time to go back to prosperity, happiness, and freedom. Reagan's closest friends and advisers - Nancy Reagan and Howard Baker - have come out in support of Rudy Giuliani for President because they believe that only Mayor Giuliani can restore America to the glory it once was. America, let's go back. Paid for by the Committee to Election Rudy Giuliani.

Bill Clinton said Rudy Giuliani was the Republican that would give Hillary the biggest challenge in a general election. If Bill Clinton, the Comeback Kid, is worried about  their odds against Mayor Giuliani shouldn't that signal to Republicans that the Mayor is their best choice? If the master of elections is shaking in his boots from the idea of a challenge by Mayor Giuliani, what's going on in the minds of the other Democrats? Rudy Giuliani - the best candidate to win in November. Paid for by the Committee to Elect Rudy Giuliani

Press Conference in Bismarck, ND

"I'm quite upset about Senators Jeffords remarks on the state of the Republican Party. I know Senator Jeffords, I like him, but I cannot see where his statement is coming from. We, as a party, have always tried to be as inclusive as possible when it comes to women and African Americans. It was Abraham Lincoln, a Republican, who fought the Civil War and it was Republicans who fought for the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments to the Constitution. It was Richard Nixon, a Republican, who finally ended our involvement in Vietnam - we're not the warmongers that he claims. I think Senator Jeffords' statement is unfounded, untrue, and I think he should apologize to all the great female Republicans - like Nancy Reagan and Margaret Chase Smith - and to all the great African American Republicans - like Edward Brooke and Colin Powell."

Giuliani Endorsements

General Norman Schwarzkopf I'm proud to back Mayor Giuliani for President. He has the strongest background in foreign affairs and I feel that he will best lead America in Iraq, Afghanistan, and across the globe.
- Gen. Schwarzkopf spends Jan. 28th-Feb. 2nd barnstorming in North Dakota and Missouri.

International Association of Fire Fighters We weighed all candidates equally, both Republican and Democrat. We feel confident in backing Mayor Giuliani for President, based on his handling of 9/11 and the co-ordination of emergency responders afterwards.
- The IAFF sent out numerous mailings and GOTV efforts in Missouri and South Carolina during the period of Jan. 28th-Feb. 2nd.

Senator Connie Mack III Mayor Giuliani is a great man who helped lead our nation during it's darkest hours. He was calm and collected while his city was burning, working to ensure the safety and security of his city and the nation. I'm honored to endorse him for President in 2004.
- Senator Mack spends Jan. 28th-Feb. 2nd barnstorming in South Carolina and North Dakota.

Rudy Giuliani Victory Speech from Arizona

"Thank you Arizona, North Dakota, and Delaware! Now that we've won 4 primaries and a whole slew of delegates it is clear that the American people are ready to get to work. The American people are ready to bring functionality and bipartisanship to Washington. The American people are ready for a Giuliani Presidency! Let's bring this momentum into Michigan and Washington and then to the Convention and on to Washington!"

Giuliani Debate Responses

To all the candidates: Do you describe yourself as a conservative first or a Republican?
I am a Republican, that is the party I am a member of and I am proud of it. I have never called myself a conservative, because I'm not. It is important that we, as a party, put an end to the infighting between these arbitrary ideological divisions and focus on spreading the broader message of the party. Lower taxes, greater civil liberties, strength abroad, safety at home. These are the ideals that the party was built on and that we need to get back to.

Mr. Mayor, do you believe the Bush Tax Cuts goes far enough and what would you do to jump start the economy?
I stand by President Bush and his tax cut. But we must expand them to cut taxes for all Americans, not just high earners. I cut taxes 23 times as Mayor of New York and the city prospered under my leadership. As President I will push for tax cuts for all Americans, from all tax brackets, and a simplification of the tax system. I want people to be able to file their tax using only one, single-page form. I want people to be able to keep more of their income, so that they can buy things and spur the economy. I want inheritance to pass from one to another without heavy taxes being imposed.

Giuliani Endorsements

Vice President Dick Cheney I originally supported Donny Rumsfeld for President, I've worked with Donny for most of my career and he would have made a great President. But now that he's suspended his campaign, I offer my endorsement to Mayor Rudy Giuliani. The Mayor and Secretary Rumsfeld have very similar political stances, they both have extensive backgrounds in homeland security, and they're both great men. I urge everyone who backed Secretary Rumsfeld to vote for Mayor Giuliani.
- Vice President Cheney spends Feb. 4th-Feb. 7th barnstorming in Michigan and Tennessee.

Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson By this point in the campaign, it's clear that there are three tiers of candidates. First, there's those who are just running to make a statement. That's where Governor Johnson and Secretary Rumsfeld belong. Second, there's those who would be fine candidates but couldn't win in the general election. That's were Governor Owens and Senator Allen belong. Then there's the top tier. The candidate who can win the nomination, unite the party, and win in November. There's only one man in that tier and it's Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
- Senator Hutchinson spends Feb. 4th-Feb. 7th barnstorming in Washington and Tennessee.

Statement from the Giuliani Campaign

Mayor Giuliani welcomes Governor Owens to the Giuliani campaign and gladly accepts his endorsement. It is clear from his endorsement that all factions of the party - conservative, moderate, old, young, male, female - are uniting around the most electable candidate, around the candidate who has the best odds at winning in November. Mayor Giuliani is undoubtedly the front runner of the primary, setting him up for a quick victory and a head-start going into the general election. Governor Owens will be a valued member of the Giuliani Campaign.

Governor Bill Owens will spend the period of February 4th to February 7th campaigning and barnstorming Nevada for the Giuliani campaign. He will spend February 8th leading GOTV efforts in Washington.

Giuliani 2004 TV and Radio Ad, Running in the following states

Mayor Giuliani doesn't play politics as usual. He's above the partisan fray in Washington and is only focused on one thing: making American the greatest nation to live, work, and raise a family in. He has solid policies at the root of his campaign, not ideological rantings. He has policy makers leading his campaign, not partisan pundits. When it comes to putting together his cabinet, Mayor Giuliani will only appoint the most qualified men and women, not campaign donors and friends. Paid for by the Committee to Elect Rudy Giuliani.

Pro-Giuliani 2004 TV and Radio Ad, Running in the following states

On September 11th, Rudy Giuliani was tested as a leader. President George Bush relied on Mayor Giuliani to help lead the nation through those dark days. And Mayor Giuliani stepped up to the plate. When have George Allen's abilities to lead been tested? When have Gary Johnson's? The only candidate for President who has proven that they can handle the high-stress job of President is Rudy Giuliani. Paid for by the International Association of Fire Fighters

I thought that this round only went to the 7th? Why have most people made schedules for the 8th?

I thought that this round only went to the 7th?

So did I, but the other folks have been doing to the 8th.

Are our schedules supposed to stop on 2/8?
Yes, for this round.

I saw this and I edited my own schedule.

I'll edit in a schedule for the 8th, just so we're all even.

Giuliani Campaign Statement

In response to Senator Allen's statement regarding a recent ad, Mayor Giuliani would like to point out at the ad in question was not put out by the campaign and was not endorsed by Mr. Giuliani. The ad was put out by the International Association of Fire Fighters, a union that supports Mr. Giuliani's campaign for President. The campaign played no role in the development, planning, or production of the ad.

Rudy Giuliani Victory Speech from Maine

Thank you! Now the great states of Maine and Michigan have joined with us in this campaign for President. This is great news and I thank everyone for their support. I may not have the lead in delegates, and I may be down in the latest tracking polls, but this is still a long way out. We've still got a lot of states left that need to vote and there are still a lot of people who are undecided. The American people are behind me, the momentum is behind me, and I believe that I can take this race into the convention and win it! Let's keep our heads up, walk tall, and fight on into Nevada and Wisconsin and all the way to Super Tuesday!

Giuliani Endorsments

Governor Linda Lingle Mayor Giuliani is the only moderate candidate for President. He's the only candidate that I feel can represent myself and my state in the White House.
- Governor Lingle spends Feb. 9th-10th barnstorming in Hawaii.

Governor Kenny Guinn: Nevada is a diverse state, full of people of different backgrounds, ethnicities, and ideologies. Only Mayor Giuliani has the skills to represent the interests of Nevada in Washington as our President. A vote for Mayor Giuliani is a vote for a better Nevada and a better America.
- Governor Guinn spends Feb. 9th-10th barnstorming in Nevada.

Mrs. Mary Matalin I don't know why most pundits say Mayor Giuliani isn't a conservative. I know the Mayor well and I think he's the perfect blend of Rockefeller Republican and Reaganite to lead our party.
- Mrs. Matalin spends Feb. 9th-10th barnstorming in Wisconsin.

Senator Larry Craig Mayor Giuliani is conservative enough to be our party's leader He's pro-smaller government, he's pro-business, and he's pro-freedom. He is the candidate for Idaho and I'm glad to support him for President.
- Senator Craig spends Feb. 9th-10th barnstorming in Idaho.

Statement from the Giuliani Campaign

Mayor Giuliani gladly congratulates Senator Allen on his wins in Virginia and Tennessee. He would also like to thank all those who voted for him, as the Mayor out-performed what many polls projected even without contesting either states. "I think we did very well in Tennessee, considering we didn't contest it..." said the Mayor at a campaign meeting in New York City. Mayor Giuliani now looks forward to a successful few weeks in Nevada, Washington, D.C., and Wisconsin.
