Texas will hardly be competitive, even with Beto O'Rourke.  I would say Safe R.

If everything goes the Democrats way on election night, AZ and TX will be the states to watch.  Because there is a likely turnover in the House now.

The GOP are still favored, but a wave can wash over the Senate.
No? There are only two seats the Democrats can take, max. The Senate isn't going to be in play, and even if they do tie the Senate, it'd be 50-50. You also forget that Manchin, McCaskill, and Heitkamp, and perhaps even Bill Nelson, are in greater trouble than Cruz.
The map is so bad for Dems I'd add Tester, Brown, and maaaaybe Baldwin. But, the bottom line is, arguing with a troll is a waste of time.

Well, Ted Cruz won't have an easy reelection.  I doubt Dems lose more than 2 seats.  Obama had a rough 2010 and Dems lost 50 House seats and 7 seats.  Dems want to return that favor since we don't have the SCOTUS.
Yes he will

He doesn't need the money. He'll win anyway.

There's always a chance that someone else did this on his account, especially considering most politicians hardly manage their own Twitter accounts.

I find it hard to believe that Cruz would do this.

ok so ted is probably more popular than trump in texas but beto‘s more popular than hillary too...idk i don’t actually see enough republicans defecting to give beto the win. ik houston/dallas/austin/san antonio are steadily taking more of the state’s population share and trending democratic by the day but i still don’t think it’s enough to overpower the ultra-republican rural areas

Doesn't necessarily have to be Republicans turning over, just indies sick of Cruz, Trump, or both; low GOP turnout; and high Democratic turnout.

I doubt Beto will pull it off barring a major development, but if he did, this is how he'd do it.

To say that positions like "immigration reform, universal healthcare, equal rights for LGBT people, tighter environmental regulations and “commonsense” gun laws" are akin to those of Bernie Sanders or are anything indicative of "an unapologetic Left Wing Campaign !" is sad. I can't think of one mainstream Democrat that hasn't campaigned on this stuff.

Shadows, please stop.
