I disagree with many of his views... but the selfishness of the Paul's in not getting behind his candidacy makes me pity the man
I would not call it selfish at all. Ron Paul got behind Chuck Baldwin in 2008, and Chuck Baldwin was a radio pastor that only those in the Constitution Party would know of. Baldwin had a quarter of the money Johnson raises in just one month, and had little if any ground organization. But the key point was that Paul and Baldwin had the same views. Paul and Johnson do not. I still support Johnson, but I don't think Paul should have to endorse him.
Ron Paul is damned if he does endorse Johnson for "splitting votes", and damned if he didn't for being "selfish."
