Many reject the liberal label because of what the right has turned it into, but I don't abandon my label just because a group of loons don't like it.

I do reject the progressive label because of what it has come to mean to me.

Rockefeller is upset that academia and certain other "elite" fields are dominated by liberals, so he feels the need to overcompensate by reminding us that many conservatives are p***ks.

Except that their elitism is a result of the money they have, not necessarily any intellectual capacity.
