Let's put two reinforcements in Arizona and 1 in Utah.

Have Utah attack Colorado and Arizona attack New Mexico. Divide remaining armies between the two, with the edge going to New Mexico and Utah.

Let's see how that goes.

Divide remaining armies between the two, with the edge going to New Mexico and Utah.

In the case of the UT-CO attack, if you don't lose any battalions then you'll have 5 to split between the two states.  But if you want the edge to be given to Utah, then you can only attack Colorado in the first place with 2 battalions.  Or you can attack with 3, and leave 2 behind in Utah...
Oh, I forgot about the three being sent rule. I'll just leave two back in Utah.

Ugh

Everything in Arizona. Attack New Mexico. Leave balanced between two, with any advantage going to New Mexico.

That is all for now.

Am I the only one who thinks that tmth is in a really good position, provided that he plays his cards right?
Wait, what? lol

I may not be in as bad of shape as BK or MB, but I don't see myself in a better position than Hagrid (still) or Vosem.

Go big or go home

1 reinforcement on Utah, invade Idaho.

2 reinforcements on Nevada, take Arizona then go for California.

That works, right? I think my family always played by slightly different rules. Lets see what that creates.

This has been quite the remarkable round.

Before that I thought you had a fair chance to reestablish yourself as a Pacific power...
FWIW, I offered Marokai a deal that would have gotten him through this round and probably next round, but he took this route instead.

Hmm,

I will be handing in three cavalry for 6 extra reinforcements

Let's place 1 in Colorado, 2 in Arizona, 2 in Utah, and 7 in Nevada. Nevada to Idaho, then to Washington. If I take both, leave maximum amount on Idaho. Then take Wyoming, evenly distributing between the two with any advantage going to Wyoming.

I've always played that you can move it to any territory you're connected to and I believe that's what the rulebpok I have at home says. But if Joe does it differently, fine.

How am I supposed to stay competitive with 3 reinforcements? Come on, Joe. Smiley

Well, toss all three in Arizona and hit California, then stop. Any advantage stays with California. Move 2 from Colorado to Utah.
