2%. 1% I'm more or less okay with, though you can certainly tell the difference. Skim just tastes weird to me; though if I had to live with it I'd probably get used to it after a month or two like you would with anything else.

Out of these options, whole milk, but I prefer buttermilk or kefir.

Indeed.

I grew up on whole milk, my mom, being a nurse thought it would be good for us to go down to 2%.  My dad refused.  My mom started secretly cutting the whole milk with 2%.  First a little, then more over time until eventually we were drinking 2% out of a gallons labeled whole.  My mom came clean, my dad didn't believe her, until he took a shot of whole after drinking 2% for a few weeks.  I don't remember if she did the same thing to get us down to skim, but that's what I was drinking when I left the house.

Haha that'll make a good storyline for a family sitcom.

Whole milk is fantastic, if I can't have that than 2%, since again it tastes like milk.

It wasn't until a very late age... probably 20 or 21, when I realized that a large percentage of people do not drink regular milk...

My experience was just the opposite.  I never cared for milk as a child, and I never drank it after I started kindergarten, even though the elementary schools were pushing it on us in a big way back then.  It wasn't until I started university that I understood how many people really seem to like milk.  I lived with a woman for two years who had to have milk and cereal every morning.

Unless I'm in the first 36 months of my life, and the milk is coming from a big tit attached to my mother, I don't want to drink it.

I really don't understand the cow's milk craze among humans.  Fortunately for my son, neither does my wife, so my son doesn't get force-fed cow's milk, which is good, because he doesn't like it either.  The schools certainly seem to push it even nowadays.  Successful marketing, I suppose.

This. I prefer skim, and my significant other prefers 2%, so we compromise at 1% (even though I do most of the grocery shopping). I've gotten more into almond milk, though, over the past year or so.

Skim. Anything else tastes too thick. Also since I usually drink a glass with breakfast and a glass with dinner, it's much healthier.

Write in: Chocolate

BTW, whole milk is called "Homo milk" here. Some 2% milks advertise "tastes like homo". Always cracks me up.

I prefer 2 but usually buy and drink 1.

I found it interesting when I moved away from home for university that relatively few people actually seem to drink milk regularly. I drink it like water. Honestly, I probably have at least six glasses of milk a day when I'm at home. Our family of four goes through one bag of three sleeves a day (yeah, our milk comes in bags Tongue).

I actually very rarely drink milk these days. That's because at some point, odds became greater than 50/50 that when you got milk at the store, it would be spoiled (regardless of expiration date).
