Ok, here we go for The Golden State

I'm going with John Tunney (Class 1) and Barbara Boxer (Class 2).

Next post of mine will have the leaderboards.

What strikes me about Barbara Boxer is how well she personified the politics and ideology of her state (or, rather, what most people thought to be the politics and ideology of her state). Looking at her contemporaries, only the likes of Ted Kennedy could match her in this respect.

I really wonder about those two people who voted Laphonza Butler...I mean, really? Question's asking for best senators from California, not Maryland.

Wilson and Hayakawa.

Hayakawa was a hero for standing up to student radicals in the 1960s.  He was right; the right to demonstrate doesn't come at the expense of others' right to the education they paid for.
