Is it illegal for the NHS to deny someone treatment? Can you sue the NHS if they don't pay for your medical issues?

No. You can't knock on the door and demand what you want. More often than not you will get what you need.

Depends on what the treatment was for. The NHS doesn't pay for many things; most orthodontic dentistry for example, which is why the bad teeth stereotype has some basis in reality.

More like the reality that existed before NHS dentistry (which costs money but is cheaper than going private).
