Just leaves quietly and with dignity, having a moderate libertarian who's rather principled(don't care what party he's in) taking his place.

He clearly will ascend to heaven, as he is the second coming of Jesus.

Third.  Reagan was second.

Dragged out in handcuffs, put in the town pillory and have the villagers throw food at him.

Impeached, Resigned and "leaves as the most unpopular president in history" are also great scenarios.

He is a disgrace to this wonderful nation. It saddens me that Americans chose this man, I don't know what this country is coming to that it would make such a terrible decision.

It isn't a wonderful nation, Pym!  It is a nation full of hateful intolerant prudes.  GW is actually a perfect fit for that sh**thole.

And what's funny is that you and your little ultra liberal friends can't tolerate Bush and hate him with a passion. You want him destroyed as soon as possible which is funny when you all talk about being tolerant.

See, I dislike Clinton but I didn't want him impeached or to leave after failing horribly. You know why? Because I have the common sense to know that will hurt the country. I guess you don't care if it hurts the country if Bush fails, all you and your friends want is satisfaction.

What a pair of dumbs.  Of course I'd rather see the country crash and burn than be something I don't want it to be.  In other words, my way or I hope you're ed.

One wonders if Ma Jeddi and Cheezewhiz would have the same 'my country right or wrong' attitude if one day Our President were a Socialist?

Dragged out in handcuffs and tried in the Hague for crimes against humanity and sentenced to life in a small cell with nothing but a steel cot never to speak to another human being for the rest of his life.

Same goes for Cheney, Rummy, Wolfowitz, Condi, Perle, Hughes, and the rest of WHIG.

Some have expressed the sentiment they would like to see Bush gone from office as soon as possible.

Well, if you don't like President Bush, wait to you see President Cheney in action.

Then the feigned indignation from the left would really start.

Ma Jeddi?  It’s MasterJedi Roll Eyes

I never had a “my country right or wrong” attitude, as you can see by my continual criticism of President Bush.

If a Socialist were in office but he wasn’t passing very much of his agenda, I’d just want him to lose reelection, because I don’t like to see our country fall into bitterness.  If this Socialist Pres. was turning the U.S.A. into a socialist country, then yes, impeach him or arrest him or whatever, but I don’t think Bush is doing enough damage to justify the damage we would be doing by forcing him out of office.

America needs more people like you, opie, people who will tear the country apart if they don’t get their way Roll Eyes  So, if everybody thought like that you do realize that if you got your way then the person on the people with other ideas would tear the country apart to get their way, then you’d do the same to their version of the Country, and it goes on and on and on…

I would like for him to leave the most popular President in the country, because then that would mean the country is probably doing great and he did an excellent job.

Of course, many Libs picked "In a coffin" or "In disgrace" because they would be satisfied having the oppertunity to discredit Republicans and get back at Bush, even if it ment the country went down the sh**ter.

I was just going to make the same point.  A very unpopular Bush means that things are going very bad in Iraq and foreign policy as a whole and an economy that is doing badly.  There seems to be a little too much personal dislike going on in politics that skews people's judgement of the big picture.
People on both sides of the aisle have been taking too much glee in the personal and professional failings of their political rivals.  I never liked Clinton as a person, but I always wanted him to do a good job for the sake of the nation.  You can disagree all you want, however, hoping for a Bush presidency to crash and burn also has dire consequences for the nation for many decades to come.
