Since it wasn't answered on the other thread from the "New Federalists" and the platform is just copied and pasted from that:

Besides just being "not Federalists", what exactly makes it any different than an existing Fed caucus (which this originally was)?

Same as the difference between PUP and Labor.

Maybe the point is that it's better of to be 'not Federalist' than 'Federalist', even if the parties are otherwise identical twins.

I realize earlier I said this was going to be a carbon copy of Alliance, I see I was wrong, as it is a carbon copy of the Federalists. I will admit when the Alliance Party was in its earlier stages when many called us a "Federalist-lite" party, because we basically were. But we've changed now and our platform reflects that. This is not meant as an attack toward you all, but this is even more like the Federalists than we were when we were called a Federalist spin-off. I wish you guys a successful future, but you're going to need to find a better raison d'etre than "we're not Federalists" whilst having basically the same platform.

Are you planning on combining federal and state taxes? Is the taxing system still progressive? Your language implies that this is a flat tax rate.

Federal and state taxes will remain separate. The taxing system is still progressive, except that it is simplified so that there are only deductions that would help an average person, and not deductions only for the rich which allow them to pay less taxes than they should.

Infrastructure
Infrastructure funding should increased, as updating our buildings, roads, and bridges will create jobs, keep us safe, and lead to future innovation. A job training and recruitment program should be created. Infrastructure should be required to be inspected yearly and should be repaired as soon as possible when something is needed to be fixed.

Taxes
A simple tax code that is fair, with few deductions and no loopholes. Lower taxes for the poor, middle class, and small businesses. Upper class and the 1% should pay the tax rate they are required too. A 15% luxury tax on expensive goods should be implemented.

Federal Income Tax Brackets:
0% - $0 - $24,999
10% - $25,000 - $49,9999
20% - $50,000 - $99,999
25% - $100,000 - $249,999
35% - $250,000 - $999,999
42% - $1,000,000 +

Regional Property Tax Rates by Income:
0% - $0 - $24,999
1% - $25,000 - $49,9999
2% - $50,000 - $99,999
3% - $100,000 - $249,999
4% - $250,000 - $999,999
5% - $1,000,000 +

just pointing out a small typo.

[email; sent to party press office]

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am working on an article for the Nyman Questioner on the formation of your party, and would like to ask a few brief questions.  I hope that you'll be willing to answer them.

1. In what way is a party consisting of a Representative; a Lincoln Assemblyman, a Fremont MP and a former Cabinet Member in the current White House at all "anti-establishment"?  To me, it seems like rather than being anti-establishment, you are offering voters an alternative establishment.

2. What firm policy differences does your party have with the Federalist Party?  From your election manifesto, it seems that you have no real policy differences with them.  If there are no major differences; then why should Atlasian voters support a smaller, untested party over the devil that they know?

3. Why did you make the decision of hiding the involvement of "The Young Texan" in your party?  As a party claiming to offer something different to the people of Atlasia; hiding the involvement of a seemingly unpopular Establishment politician seems like old fashioned Atlasian politics at its best.

4. What is your parties position on press freedoms and liberalisation of Atlasia's restrictive libel and slander laws?  As Atlasia's primary independent media source; I was wondering how you would foster the creation of a truly free and independent press.

I await your answer with must interest, and I thank you for your help in advance.

Yours Faithfully,

Isaac Cummings
