Can't pick. Sanders is awful and un-American, but I can't choose Trump because of the deportations and family killing stuff.

What is awful and un-American about Sanders?

His desire to turn America into Scandinavia.

So what's wrong with emulating another country if they do something better than we do?

They don't do it better. Which is why Europe has been turning away from "Democratic Socialism".

Except they do do it better. We need to make changes that Scandinavia has instead of the same old over here, which benefits little and harms many.

Wait, you support Clinton over Trump but not Sanders? lol

Sanders has unrealistic plans and is way too liberal for my tastes.

If you were truly scared of Trump, you'd support Sanders in this case. This thread tells us that Trump has nothing to worry about when it comes to #Republicans4Hillary. Most of them would have voted against other Republican candidates as well. Smiley

And I'm scared of sanders too

What of him scares you?

The fact that our families taxes would go up by $15,000 which costs more then my college tuition and our health insurance combined. Also his economic agenda would destroy the US economy.  Lastly the fact that he sympathized with USSR during the cold war

Coincidentally, my family actually outright backed the USSR in the Cold War and resisted the 1989 move to capitalism to the point where they had to leave their home country. And I've already gotten the majority of them to vote for Donald Trump!

Obviously, I choose Trump. Would gladly vote for Sanders over someone like Jeb Bush or Lindsay Graham though.

well just because Scandinavia can do it doesn't mean that America can do it. in fact a lot of countries can do better with our sister in a lot of countries can do worse with our system. the thing is that Scandinavians and Americans are both very different people and have very different values, so Scandinavian style socialism I might not work in the United States.

They resisted capitalism so they moved to the US.

Sanders is the only candidate I could vote for without a sense of reluctance. Obviously I'd vote for Clinton over pretty much any Republican, but that would be simply choosing an lesser evil.

Can't pick. Sanders is awful and un-American, but I can't choose Trump because of the deportations and family killing stuff.

Please don't start with this crap.

You'd be surprised how many people are under the impression that the Nazis were communists.

I think it's worth at least trying because all the current capitalist system has done is unfairly tilt the scales toward the rich and corporations. I don't hate rich people. I hate it when rich people play by a different set of rules than the rest of us do.
