In the end, the democrats come home and Kirk goes home crying by at least 5 pts.

They do seem to be coming home slowly but surely in Illinois. I hope it keeps up because some of the other states are beginning to look very ugly.

The previous 5 polls had Kirk up by 2-4. Which one of these is not like the others...

The most recent one before this had Giannoulias up by 1, so that's not correct.

A 2-point lead is statistically insignificant, regardless of who has it.

Interesting that Chicago Tribune has the Senate and Governor race almost even with each other.

With that many undecideds, it'll be the momentum that decides it.

You're probably right. Kirk and Brady need to have a good October with no scandals. Right now, I have Brady barely winning and Kirk barely losing, but both could easily change if something even semi-big happens here.

All of the polling up until this point has told me that Quinn should lose but I have a weird feeling about that one. Watch it closely on election night.

As for Kirk, I'll say blatantly that I'm not really expecting him to win.

For the record, I'd rather Kirk won than Brady, at least for the sake of Illinois.

If Brady were running in Illinois under most circumstances, I'd probably find him amusing....but the fact that he's quite likely going to be our next governor is frightening indeed, isn't it?

Kirk would vote lockstep behind McConnell or DeMint. Brady would be fairly harmless with such a Democratic legislature.
