New Jersey
Vermont
New York
New Hampshire
California

1. New Jersey
2. Connecticut
3. Vermont
4. New Hampshire
5. New York

Also consider Maine, and Minnesota with its Independence Party organization. And Florida might make it on to that list as well.

Can't believe I forgot Connecticut. Florida is also very interesting, he could do very well with NE transplants and suburbanites (i.e. Crist voters).

I can see him winning 25% of the vote in Alaska as well.

Who would support Bloomberg? Just another big city liberal who likes to run your life. He would perhaps ship votes away from The Obumbler who may already be damaged goods but I dont see the american people replacing a socialist with just a garden variety NE liberal and nanny state specialist

I think if the Reps get overrun by tea-party types, Bloomberg could siphon off a lot of the remaining liberal and moderate republicans, as well as right-leaning Indies.

I do subscribe to the Bill Maher view on this, Bloomberg is the one genuinely successful BIG-businessperson to transition to politics. Too many presume business acumen makes you a good politician... or even worse, a good administrator...

Bloomberg might come close to taking a whole 1% of the vote in New York as his best state.

He's a member of the Independence Party, so he's guaranteed to get at least 5% in Minnesota, which would probably be his best state.

Name one issue on which you disagree with the majority of Democrats on this forum.

He barely won a third term in NYC against an unknown, underfunded opponent.  About 100% of his 2010 endorsements are going to lose.  Everyone hates Wall Street.  He's not running.
