Our set was four songs and about 20 minutes, I think we did great and I had a great time. It got taped and is on youtube. Feel free to speculate as to which one is me.

Yeah, the audio recording is awful due it being a digital camera. But glad to have them recorded and now online.

Your frontman is a pretty hardcore looking fellow.

EDIT: Woah I just listened to the middle links and they are f--king MASSIVE. Brutal sh-t, my friend.

In the first one the singer was drowned out by the poor recording. The only thing I could measure in the bit I watched was the chord changes, which seemed most excellent. Rock needs more complex chord changes in general. It lacks musical complexity to my ear.

Why are most of you wearing ties? And why aren't there any breakdowns?

Let me guess: you're the guitarist in the shirt and tie.

Now, I know the idea of wearing anything more than a t-shirt and jeans is anathema to you, but bare with me for a second. For three of us, the show was gonna be the day after homecoming. One of the three, the guitarist I believe, said "We should go classy" or something to that effect. I myself own basically two "classy" outfits, one of which is the suit I wear to every funeral/major religious thing/etc. Given we'd be coming just off of homecoming, I just said, "Hey, I can just wear my homecoming suit." which is what I did. The guitarist is doing that, but wearing some other jeans instead of the suit pants while the bass player isn't wearing the coat. Drummer of course can't wear all that stuff for obvious reasons, and the vocalist decided to use an argyle sweater vest he had.

Don't quit your day job.  Unless your day job is this gig, then quit immediately!

Just kidding.  Rock on, dude.  The rest of us sad junkies were watching one bum debate another bum last night, but you were actually leading a life.  Congrats.  (I'm assuming that you're in the red bandana, but it doesn't matter.)

The audio is very staticky, and I can't stand to listen to more than about 30 seconds of Horus because of that, but that's the way it is when it's a mobile device recording.  Cast it Beneath sounds less repetitive and more punchy, but I can't really hear the vocalist.  You really need to link us to a decent recording.  I remember the first band I was in.  We landed a wedding gig, and later played at a couple of bars.  Anyway, I can tell you were having a great time, and probably making a greater contribution to society than all the rest of us couch potatoes who were playing drinking games and making fun of Romney and Obama (and Jim Lehrer).

Rock on!

Thanks, though I'm not in the red bandanna, sadly. And trust me, I was just like the rest of you on debate night. Tongue This gig was played on Sunday. And the drummer in his youtube comment seems to be saying that there's a better recording on the way, though I haven't heard about that anywhere else. And with us going back to writing following this gig, there'll likely be a greater variety in the next set.

Which one are you? I just started the first video, and so far, so good Wink I am assuming it is on your youtube channel.

Well compare the name of my channel with who plays what, listed at the bottom of the description. (and I probably should'nt've changed my youtube name to my actual name, but I didn't need band mates asking "Who the Hell is McCathcon"?")

Ah.  I read your interests:  Piano, Bass, Pizza.  (Dude, you're Geddy Lee!)  Why is there a brassiere hanging over your keyboard?  Is it to cover up the brand name because you don't want to do unpaid spot advertising for them?  It's all tight, but you really gotta get us a better recording.

Oh yeah, my description was written back when the bass I'd gotten for Christmas was still new. Take piano a bit more seriously. Should probably add saxophone. (Though pulling a Geddy Lee/Ray Manzarek/John Paul Jones would be pretty sweet)

Sadly not a brassiere from a female fan, but instead this:

As featured in the fourth video (which in itself requires some explanation I don't want to get into right now).
