I'm deeply saddened Sad that police have found a link between former President True Independent and the assassination plot on my life. I had hoped he might not have been involved and it was the plot of some other Puerto Rican liberationist movement

'Hawk'

You think that you had an assasination plot by a former head of state, don't make me luahg. I had the entire Chinese Government after me, and they had a plan to poision my food when I went to China State Dinner in January 2005, but I kept it all under my hat for more than a year!

So while you are upset over one head of state trying to end your life, remember I had a whole government after me!

(BTW, this is but a merry jest.)

Actually, the economy has gotten so used to insurrections and secessions, that it's already started to take them into account. Wink

Good to see that the economy isn't going to take another major hit. Smiley I wonder what real-world equivalent country Atlasia resembles now? Wink

TrueDem is nothing more than a fly on Atlasia's shoulder. I consider him nothing and will ignore all actions taken by him. A ragtag army that pales in comparison to the Atlasian Guard of just one state. Tongue

I know.  I've been extremely behind on real life stuff of late, so I'll get to yours and Bono's concerns today.

I just want to say, that in the whole Puerto Rican thing involving Dave 'Hawk', the only thing I was notified in advance about was the he was going to have an assassination attempt.  I was not notified about a warrant to search my house or a warrant for my arrest (and I actually considered pressing charges).  In light of recent problems and delays in reporting from the GM, I feel the time has come for a new GM.  I call on the President and Congress to consider replacing Sam.  He isn't keeping up with the work needed to be GM.

Considering that you were in Puerto Rico, the government could pretty much do what it wanted to in obtaining a search warrant, especially since they had probable cause to search.  This whole situation will be dealt with in the next report anyways.

I am already going to leave this position in a few days, as I said I would in another thread, but I have some unfinished business to deal with, which includes Bono's stuff.

Thank you.

The ballot of what?

Btw, I should mention that you're going to be cleared of suspicion in the assassination attempt, I just haven't gotten around to writing the article yet.

Senate ballot.  It lists parties, not people, so I don't really get it.

As GM, I don't really have much to do with the Senate ballot creation and don't know much about it.

Maybe you should post this in the SoFA thread instead.

Final Words

By Sam Spade

True Democrat, you don't have to PM me anymore asking when I'm going to be leaving, because it's right now.  Smiley

Yes, ladies and gentleman, I am leaving the GM spot and retiring effective midnight tonight.

It's been fun.  I only hope that the next person does a much better job than I did.

I'll return to political life for a while and then by August, I will be probably be around here less and less, as I become busier and busier with normal life responsibilities.

That's all I have to say.  Bye.

Well done on your time as GM, Sam.
