Rossi? Really? The perenial loser? Republicans would be smart to nominate someone fresh.

Rossi really you do realize he WON the governors race in 2004 right?
He won the first count and the second count but on third she narrowly won he tried to get 1 last count and the courts said no he is the rightful governor of Washington.

Yeah and Strickland actually won the governor's race in 2006. Sure helped him lots in 2016.

Crist....was also a perenial loser until he caught one lucky break. Not the best comparison.

Ted Strickland
Charlie Crist
Tommy Thompson
Bob Kerrey
Russ Feingold
Evan Bayh

Former office holders who've recently failed at comebacks. And Rossi never even won an election. A fresh face would be better for Republicans.

Rossi of course easily won this district many times, including the gubernatorial election won by Democrat Christine Gregoire.

Gillespie also won many areas in 2014 comfortably in which he was blown out in 2017. Same for Moore this year wrt his 2012 election.

Rossi won the 8th in all 3 statewide runs including when obama was the 8th by 15 points.

That doesn't dispute my point.

The Democrat party is being crushed in the 8th district!

Well, the polls were right about AL-SEN, so this checks out.

I know these polls are from 2006 but this was back when the 8th was more democrat https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/writeup/washington_8-8.html

The dems ended up losing in a good year for them.

You're doing the same thing you did for the Virginia governor race.
