It seemed like McAuliffe might have a landslide blowout earlier in the season.

Now it seems like things are tightening up.

Does Youngkin pull out an upset victory?

McAuliffe by about 4 right now I'd say.

I could see anything from Youngkin+3 to McAuliffe+11 at the moment.

Hot take: McAuliffe wins by at least 7 points and most probably more than 8.

It's not like youngkin couldn't win but at this point I don't see the path.

If he was gonna win, his polling would probably be way better. I'd bet a fair amount of money on t-mac.

I don't trust polls.

T-Mac is doing what he needs to do.

Youngkin has an unlikable face.

T-Mac wins by 8.

Republicans are still stuck at their floor more or less in polling so I’m not sure Youngkin is in a great shape to make the gains he needs to win the state. You also have the issue of Democratic turnout not likely to fall much. I would say T-Mac is likely to win by 54-45.

T.Mac by at least 5. I also believe Ayala and Herring will also win easily.

Sticking with McAuliffe +3.5.  Republicans snag one of LG/AG.  The HoD will be very close, with 51D/49R probably the most likely outcome.

McAuliffe+4

What will happen is that the VAGOP may say no more establishment candidates like Gillespie, Youngkin and Allen; a Chase or Stewart-type candidate may be the nominee in 2025

McAuliffe +4. It’s increasingly reminding me of a CO-SEN 2020/AL-SEN 2020 situation in which there is no way for the dominant-party candidate to lose no matter how hard they might try or how minimal the effort they put into their campaign.
