Yes, but by American standards, anything less than fawning, glowing praise for Israel is equivalent to rabid anti-Semitism and wanting to start a second Holocaust.

The Ron Paul wing of the GOP isn't overtly pro-Israel and contains some Israel skeptics (though not at the forefront).  Given that most American politicians compete to be more pro-Israel than others, that puts them on a relative fringe.

You'd be more likely to see a Paul supporter say something like "Why is a wealthy country like Israel the #1 recipient of American aid?" than saying "Justice for Palestine," if that makes any sense.

It is actually very possible that if the Democrats get to far into extremism, such as by being very radical racially, we could have a growth in Democratic anti-semitism and the Republicans could gain from it.

Do you know what the phrase "very possible" means?

It appears the outreach is specifically towards the (growing) share of Orthodox and Conservative Jews for whom Israel is a genuine in-road. The Brighton Beach Democrat, if you will.

So the GOP is making an outreach to voters in New York? Yeah that'll be quite helpful.

It would be nice if they started by promoting a few Jewish politicians in the party. Perhaps, Rep. Cantor could become more prominent: as there is no other Republican Jew in Congress these days, it would have to be him. Oh, wait...

Yes. It is very likely that, assuming the Democrats go down that road which is unlikely, Jews would abondon the Democratic Panther Party.

1) yes, in certain congressional and state senatorial districts it would.

2) how did you misread my post to mean only NY Jews?

That's due to the change in birthrate due to some more affluent, reform Jews raising their kids Christian.  The Republican Party is getting more or less the same slice of a shrinking pie.
