This bill has already been scored by the GM and I quote "Revenue impact is a loss of $2.074B for the year." I would be willing to have offsetting taxes if that is fine or take the loss out of the alternative energy fund of the Budget.

So we are not ready/willing to raise the revenue to offset this? I am willing to introduce legislation to raise taxes to offset this. My office has already made the proposal to raise cigarette, alcohol, marijuana, and estate taxes.

Well, I would support this bill.

Has someone something to propose in order to raise taxes?
What are the current tax rates/ budget? I am confused because I am finding different numbers. I am fine with raising taxes but I think we should see what taxes we have right now. The tax modification bill had lower taxes then what you told me the other day. That makes me question how much in surplus we have. I would still propose the Estate Tax rise.

Our current tax rates were set by the July Tax Reform: https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=176147.0, but we made several changes after that. When it comes to the budget, the statue lists the following:

See that Tax reform is what I was using, but I was wrong on the "Sin" taxes, they had already been raised. Also, and forgive me for being new to the Midwest government, but does all this money specifically have a project, or can we simply cut some of the programs to make up for the one year loss in revenue?
