Im trying to search for some right now.  Im assuming the best bet would be in Iowa and maybe in the Texas plains.  Anyone have a list?

Pretty much what I figured.  The only other state where there could have been some was Wisconsin, where Dukakis and Clinton performed about the same.  However, the only switches seemed to be from Bush to Clinton.

Dukakis' performance in the Midwest/Plains was truly impressive.

I assumed this can be chalked up to the farm depression of the 1980s?
Also, I wonder whether the GOP vote actually increased in those counties, or did Perot just poach from the Dems.

My mom worked on the Dukakis campaign in 1988, but she voted for Bush in 1992 and (I think) Dole in 1996.
