Well no, people in the Looney Party should still be taken seriously, as far as they want their own campaigns to be taken seriously. But the Party itself certainly should not be taken seriously, because that's the whole point of it.

Aw, don't be put out. Just think more subtle. Look at Ernest and JFK's ads - they poked fun at or twisted real-life policies, and were hilarious!
