But it doesn't count as a divorce, since it was annulled because he suddenly found out that she was his second cousin.

I doubt Rudy even has hacks but I see no point making excuses for his first divorce since even then you've still got more to try and smooth over.

It was his 2nd wife Donna Hanover.  It was known for a bit something was going on, in fact a week before Rudy was caught having a romantic dinner with Judy Nathan.  Rudy made an announcement that he and Hanover were separating in a Press Conference without even telling Hanover first.  She didn't even see the Press Conference and found out shortly afterwhen reporters asked her thoughts on the separation.

Wow. It's hard for me to say it, but I agree with you over Giuliani, he's a disgrace.

That's exactly the case.  He announced he was divorcing his second wife on television before actually telling her that they were getting divorced.  Also, he was having his mistress (now wife) sleeping over with him in Gracie Mansion during the period when the divorce was going through...with his wife in the house.

Actually, I'll say this for Rudy, he was never a social conservative.  There was not the hypocrisy factor that there was with Newt.

Other than that, I'm not defending either.
