She's far more charismatic and popular than McCain. She would turn it into a close election. Don't underestimate her.

Palin is a joke.  Anyone who has to read notes off their hand will only be viewed as Presidential by a very small minority.  She may be a good person, but President is way above her head.

I have said this many times, the people that follow Palin agree with her and like her, but I would bet money that only a few of them would actually want to see her as president, when compared with all of the other Republican possibles.

At present... (let's be diplomatic), Palin has little to no following among moderates, women generally dislike her and she can't swing the latino vote.

All things the 2012 Republican nominee needs. They need to perform as well, if not better than Bush among women, moderates and Latino voters.
