Why do they even poll such races like Maine or Wyoming ? 1 poll is OK but they should really focus on Ohio, Missouri, the battlegrounds for example. So, bring out more polls Smiley

Not a total yawn.  This is much closer than I expected, even if this race is uncompetitive as you can get.  I was expecting Thomas to absolutely murder.

I disagree. I hate the fact that there's never enough polling for races in small states, such as Alaska, North Dakota, Idaho, etc.   An example was Iowa in 2004, it was very hard to predict because so few polls were done there compared to the Big 3 (OH, PA, FL). A Senate seat from a small state is equal to one from a big place, so polling there should be just as important.

But this is not a competitive race.  His point was that there are competitive races to poll.  It is akin to polling Texas in 2004.

The dems should cut funding to Virginia and Arizona and divert it to Missouri. McCaskill needs the money. Pederson can fund his own campaign and Allen will win nomatter if its by 5 points or 20 points.

I still think that Groutage is running well, according to the poll.  32% is not bad at all for a Democrat in Wyoming.  I have no illusions that Groutage and perhaps even Trauner can win, but I still want Democratic candidates to do well and I believe this election cycle they have the potential to do.  Freudenthal's presence on the ballot is definitely the biggest asset the two Democrats running in Wyoming have.
