Obviously I support this, as I proposed it.

I look forward to hearing others opinions.

I'm also in support. It clears up a lot of the vague language and makes it easier to interpret.

I urge the Althing to pass this.

Alrighty. First off, thank you Vega for introducing this bill. My opinion is that the two questions should not be on the same ballot. I think that the individual who is being recalled should first face the recall question. If that is successful than the individual may be allowed to run for retention (question #2) after a few days of campaigning. I will write up an amendment if everyone thinks this is a good idea.

EDIT: Disregard the voting bit. I thought I was just copying the bill.

Now we have only 2 legislators and 1 Archduke.
But considered that I will resign on January 2, we will have only 2 Legislator.
The next Archduke election will be held from January 15 (the 3rd Thursday of the month. (The Governor should update the Vital Civic Thread with the dates of future elections)) and considered that I will resign on January 2, the new PPT will take all the responsibilities of the Archduke until the end of the January 15 election.
If I'm not wrong, the Alphing election should be held on the same days of the Archduke election, so the Governor should appoint a Midwest citizen of his choice.

Still waiting for the new Representatives. Also Gass isn't active in these days.
I will resign today. The new PPT (GAworth I guess) will open a vote on the amendment, but I think that we should wait the new Representative.

Amendment is friendly, and I'll support it if passed. With 3 Representatives now (and 2 at least knowingly in favor), Archduke Gass can call a vote.

I apologize for missing this, as I admittedly just noticed.  Rather new to this part, and I've spent all my time looking at the voting booth hah.  I'll make sure to check in here daily so as to avoid anything like this happening again.
