Yes, Mormans are socially conservative, but Utah does have liberal pockets and has a unique history of mostly being founded by members of one religious group.  It's not entirely comparable to other states.

Mississippi would get my #1 vote followed somewhere behind the rest of the south and Indiana thrown in between the south and the plains.
