So trump campaigning in Virginia Minnesota and in a few days plan for a rally in new York city?
Seem like trump trying to cut the soft underbelly of the democrats by doing rally in these states But now how do you think Joe going to respond?.

Trump had a wonderful time in San Jose, CA back in 2016.

Hillary had some good times in North Carolina and Arizona, since the Blue Wall was holding and the tipping point state of note was safely in her court.

I was about to say this. Trump 2024 reminds me a lot of Hillary.

Can we just agree that the graph above is a really weird and dumb way to illustrate this?

Almost as bad as the cartoonish "Swingometer" and "Path to Number 10" that the BBC shoves down our throats on elections nights.

If it comes out after the Access Hollywood tape OR news of Comey re-opening the Clinton investigation then I think it definitely swings.  Trump was floundering post-Access tape and what got the narrative changed was Comey re-opening the Clinton investigation, which pushed the Access tape to the margins again and gave Trump's last few weeks some breathing space.

If the Daniels issue comes up, I definitely think it depresses some of the social conservative vote for Trump just enough.  After all, we're talking about less than 100k votes across three states here to give Clinton a win.

If Comey had kept his mouth shut Clinton would have won.

I'm using something like Rick Scott/Paul Gosar vs. Mark Kelly/John Fetterman as my model for this, and holy crap that's a slaughter.

MN of course, but it would be nice to get some good quality polling in Virginia. I don't expect Trump has any real chance to win VA, but I think the margin to be more like 2016 than 2020.

Yup. VA definitely doesn’t feel like 2020 anymore. It’s time for NYT/Siena to start including these three states in their regular polling rotation.

Australia first.

Canada second. Though, Canada overall leans to the left of the US, the politics of the both countries are extremely similar. Anglo-Canadians politicians also campaign is pretty much identical ways to US politicians. Quebec and the South are where the 2 countries diverge but everything else is like 95% the same.

What a pity this country has become when the opposition party resorting to impeachment has become a norm.

What choice did Democrats have after his outrageous crimes? You're not seriously suggesting that either of his impeachments were the wrong response?

My comment is not exclusive for Democrats alone, same goes to Republicans as well who were trying to impeach Biden. It’s a shame that the congressional dysfunction will most likely become an endless cycle of retaliation by the opposing party to the POTUS, whoever he/she is, wherein they should be allocating their time and resources to issues which should benefit the american people in general. Like who would want to sit and watch fox news and cnn coverage about impeachment 90% of the time?

But in saying that, you're equating Democrats' impeachments of Trump (which were clearly justified) and Republican's discussion of maybe impeaching Biden (which was clearly frivolous).

If Trump [god forbid] returns to the White House and never commits any impeachable crimes, then no, he won't be impeached. If he does, he will be. You can at least count on Democrats to only use impeachment when forced to, not for frivolous reasons.

That premise alone makes me believe all impeachments are politically motivated, regardless of the party. Heck there was even talks of impeachment in 2017 when Trump was barely 6 months in office.

That's the elephant in the room that everybody seems to be nonchalant about.
