Terrifying horror movie rendition of the national anthem.
America is doomed.

Weren't they supposed to get opening statements?

Kasich just gave his opening statement anyway, honey badger don't care.

All these answers are awkward and terrible, Kasich looks like a genius for dodging.
Oh look, Trump is the only one to give a real answer.

Carly Fiorina bingo:
"smile more"
"stop shouting"
"shrill"
"bossy"
"wage gap"

Christie is giving a good answer.  I think his weakness is that he has a good sense of humor.

Trump gave a good answer and made the moderator look like an asshole.
Jeb got shut the f**k down.

Kasich has it together tonight, unlike the last debate.

Kasich:  "I wasn't on the board of Lehman brothers"
Wasn't he on the board of Lehman brothers?

What was the question again?

Fiorina is pulling a Herman Cain and complaining that our tax code has too many pages.
Isn't three pages the exact same number that Cain used?

This answer makes less sense the longer it goes on.  "Three pages is the only way to level the field."  Three pages guarantees tons of loopholes.

Oh god, here comes Bush.

Big rumours before the debate that Bush plans to demand Rubio resign.

So far it's been exactly like I expected:

Trump:  Surprisingly more substantive.
Rubio:  Ascending and powerful
Bush:  Weasely and weak
Fiorina:  Angry and harsh but without substance or sharpness
Kasich:  Desperate
Carson:  Saying as little as possible
Paul, Christie, Huckabee, Cruz:  Not there

Brace yourself for a lot more of that Ted Cruz.  That was a debate champion answer.

Where are Trump, Bush and Carson?
This debate is being way too fair.  It's halfway over, I tuned in to watch Trump attack everybody.

That doesn't seem right at all.  Paul didn't speak that much and Fiorina only had two answers.

Rubio trying the Walker strategy of saying saying "that's a democratic attack and I won't answer it" whenever someone gets a good attack in.

It didn't work for Scott, dude.

There are two pundits on CNBC, one of them is Larry Kudlow and he's just praising Trump over and over.  Kiss the ring...
The other is some woman who keeps making ditzy facial expressions and says Trump did terrible.
I think both of them are helping Trump.
Also the only person they talked to after the debate was Trump and now they're back to the studio in Rock center.
