Don't get me started on PETA.

I'm still amazed that PETA can get any followers. What a bunch of nutcases.

People make assumptions about PETA, and they join without reading everything PETA stands for. If they knew how far PETA went, they would likely not join. There needs to be a better animal rights organization that doesn't take things so far.

No, I think that it is better to have PETA, so that the public doesn't take animal rights too seriously. Wink

LOL. Well, that's one way to look at it, but by 'better' I mean 'reasonable' - one that wants to prevent unnecessary cruelty, but not one that wants to end all human use of animals.

It's intersting to see than MissCatholic has more consideration for baby chickens than she does for gay teenagers.

excuse me, where did i stat my support for this organisation?

You simply posted the position of PETA without stating your own as being different, which to some might imply that you support that position. I wasn't sure about it myself, so I didn't say anything.

Very true! Just keep in mind what they do to those chicken when they are being prOcessed. They are fattened and put in a dark room so they won't get much energy, and they lace them with antibotics.

Actually, it's my understanding that chicken is probably the most free-range oriented of the meat industries(so I'm told by someone who's really into researching what he eats anyways). If anything, it's the beef industry you've got to look out for.
