In another thread some people complained about Iowa and New Hampshire regularly being the first caucus/primary states.
What about the following idea?
I suggest that the primary session be divided into four stages.
During each stage the same amount of states/territories will hold their primaries/caucuses, beginning with the least populous regions.
This method would be fairer than holding all primaries on one day as smaller candidates can win momentum and as small states would attract attention.
