Hesus, Sanders is going to be around 80% here.

It's only super-rural states that are reporting so far.

Chelan County 2008: 73% Obama
Chelan County 2016: 72% Sanders

I'm in Chelan County as we speak, actually! Not caucusing today. (I'm not a registered Dem, for starters)

Neither am I, but I still caucused. It's an open caucus.

if sanders ran third party, would a generic R compete with hilalry in WA?

damn these margins are insane.

I think so. If you do a real quick estimation, Sanders is getting 75% in the caucus, Obama got 56% in the general election in 2012. .75 * .56 = .42. And Mitt Romney got 41% in 2012.

I agree that Clinton will easily win WA in November. But let's dispel with the fiction that WA Democratic primaries, with zero delegates at stake, are more representative of voters in WA than caucuses. Also, we're not seeing votes here, we're seeing state delegates, so it's not accurate to say that turnout will be higher in the primary.

Not only that, anyone can show up to the caucus, but you have to register as a Democrat to vote in the primary. Why would independents bother registering for a meaningless primary?

Wahkiakum is his best county at 89.5%.

You're right. I'm looking at the results on The Guardian and the stupid little Bernie avatar was covering up Wahkiakum.

So, I'm just tuning in. Does anybody have precinct-by-precinct data? I want to see if Clinton hit viability in mine, because if not, my absentee vote went to Sanders.

I don't think there's viability in WA at the precinct level.

Again, with the alphabetical order.  Seems like virtually every caucus state uses alphabetical order.

My state had no ballot. You just get a sign-in sheet and you have to write in your candidate's name.

Are we ever going to be able to get a geographic breakdown of Alaska?

No

The Guardian is now posting results by state house districts.

Sanders won Hawaii in a landslide too!? B-b-b-but I thought minorities hated that racist old coot!

The sweep is complete! Glorious day for Sanders!

He also appears to have won Alaska Natives.

In Washington, he won Asians in Seattle and Latinos in Yakima.
