The font he used for "Iran should not have nuclear weapons" is oddly festive.

Also, he has an interesting solution to the "Is Turkey part of Europe?" question.

(I'm still not sure what "becoming a cat" has to do with anything.)

Isn't it rather presumptuous for an American politician to outline a Vision for Europe? Shouldn't that be the prerogative of...European countries?

If Angela Merkel had a section on her website about her Amerikanischevorstellung, Marco Rubio would be screaming bloody murder about how the Germans are trying to take our freedoms.

Browsing Rubio's policy positions reminds me of why I can never support one of these guys.

Disingenuous HP policy on net neutrality.  Simultaneously advocating increasing military spending, cutting taxes, and balancing the budget though magic.  Still opposes gay marriage.  His energy section is laughably lacking, not even beginning to present a solution.

The fact that this guy is one of the electable ones is kind of sad.

A side note, apparently his Obamacare section hasn't been updated since the Supreme Court ruling.

Reading it, his policy seems to be defined as "a more robust response to the Ukraine crisis", and goes no further.

That could mean only one thing, going to war with Russia.
If he wishes so then why doesn't he say it loud and clear?

His emphasis on foreign policy is because his top competition--Bush, Walker, Carson, Trump (groan)--lacks foreign policy experience. If he scares us enough, he thinks, maybe we'll turn over the keys to him. Looking long-term, I think he'll try to position himself to get Graham's endorsement ahead of the South Carolina Primary. Graham will drop out by then to make sure he could help the biggest hawk in the field win, and Rubio would need him and South Carolina to match Walker/Carson/Cruz's win in Iowa and Bush's win in New Hampshire.

I've seen lists of Facebook likes that tell me more about a person's views than that page.

Of course just by having an issues section on his website Rubio's providing more detail than most other Republican candidates. Bloomberg posted a round-up a few days ago and IIRC a majority if the field does not, including Walker, Kasich, and Bush. Paul and Christie were the only ones to go into any detail at all on policy - and for the latter that was mostly about his downright dystopian scheme to raise the retirement age to 69.

Actually, in fairness, Rubio's plank on college debt isn't terrible. Certainly better than the nonsense DISRUPT HIGHER ED tripe that Hillary has on offer.

One assumes Rubio will flesh matters out as time goes on. It's sad but true, but candidates who point out we have some tough choices to make, as opposed to the all gain,  no pain theme, tend not to do well.

Not only is there Iran and Iran, Part 2, but the northern coast of Iran is apparently now in Europe.
