Talk Elections

Well guys, some of you might have seen this type of TL before. Basically, I write a scenario, and have a list of candidates to choose from.  You vote over a set period of time for the candidates. The winners progress to the next round, where the winner there is elected Pres. I then write a summary of the next two years, with you then voting for Congressional Midterms, then we do the next Presidential election.

Is anybody interested? I actually need some help thinking of an election year to start in. I want it to be before the '90s. ;)

I'll do it! I say use 1976 - the election that historians will most likely compare to 2012 ;)

This is like your Civil War timeline! That had potential but died out due to lazy people. :P
I'd do It. I like 1968, and I have to be George Romney. :D

Well, that's not exactly how it works. ;)

What happens is, I give the candidates, and people vote for them (kind of like a Survivor), and then I write the next part of the time line and so on.

So, basically, you get to control the TL. ;)

General election

Voting lasts one day.

I like Seward/Chase the most, but Houston/Everett will make a better timeline so I vote Houston/Everett.
