I'd blissfully forgotten of his existence for the last several months. I'm trying to find some silver lining for Ellsworth, a promising politician, in this year's run. Title: Re: IN: EPIC/MRI: Coats (R) still leads by 18 Post by: Filuwaúrdjan on October 25, 2010, 08:43:15 AM The hilarious part is that Ellsworth would have had a fair shot at re-election had he not been an idiot. So not only does he get crushed in a Senate election, he - almost certainly - costs his party another House seat. Maybe he should think of a different career to politics.

I honestly believe she could reach high single digits on election night, which would be a huge accomplishment for the Libertarian Party. Unlike many of their candidates, she isn't a bad debator, especially compared to her opponents.

Title: Re: IN: EPIC/MRI: Coats (R) still leads by 18 Post by: Whacker77 on October 25, 2010, 10:11:40 AM Back in February I thought Ellsworth was committing suicide by giving up a llikely re-election. Seems like that was the right idea. Still, how do you think Mike Pence feels. He could have become Senator for life and had high profile DeMint-like position to argue for his beliefs. Now, he's just another face in the House. I know he's in leadership, but the Senate is where the action has always been.
