Title: Limey Election Question
Post by: Harry Hayfield on November 02, 2010, 07:24:46 AM
Could members recommend a newspaper / television news channel website that will show the following in a simple and easy to understand method

A list of House seats that the Republicans have to gain, ranked by difficulty that will update in real time
A map of the US House that updates in real time (with vote tallies) and a comparsion with the 2008 results
A app that allows you to create your own list of House seats to watch and that updates in real time and alerts you when a call is made.

CNN has one: http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2010/my_elections/

The NYT elections site looks like the best, IMO, since it has the most maps (including county breakdowns), and loads quicker and is more aesthetically pleasing than the CNN site (which I used in 2008 and 2006): http://elections.nytimes.com/2010/results/senate
