I hate all "diet" colas. They all have this horrible after taste, most likely caused by whatever chemical they use in substitute of sugar.

Pepsi Max (there are variants... I didn't know that).

Then it'd follow:
Coke Zero
Diet Pepsi
Diet Coke

Diet Pepsi tastes more like Pepsi than Diet Coke tastes like Coke... but Diet Pepsi loses its fizz very quickly.

I'd say coke zero is probably the best, followed by diet pepsi and diet coke in a tie (Diet Coke is its own flavor completely).  I haven't really had pepsi max.

None, I hate cola. I dont like soda in general. If I drink anything, its usually either a Sprite Zero, or Ginger Ale. In a rare occasion, I'll drink Root Beer

I rarely drink real soda either.

Personally, I love the caffeine content in Pepsi Max.  And I think it tastes good.

Tab is the original Diet coke, btw. It was the very first diet cola.

Diet Cheerwine is my primary fizzy drink, but I switch to Diet Rite Cola for the evenings since I can't get Caffeine Free Diet Cheerwine in the 0.5 L size I prefer.  (At the rate I drink soda, a 2 L bottle goes flat before I can finish it.)

why do they call it Pepsi Max?

I can stomach a Diet Coke and Coke Zero.  I stay away from all things diet about Pepsi.  Although, I've heard research has been done and diet cola's are really just as bad as regular cola's.  Diet cola's are generally made with Aspertaime (sp?), an ingredient that can cause Alzheimers.  Real cola's can cause Diabetes.  I guess depending on the age, real cola's are the most immediate problem, but you can't ignore what's down the road, either.

I will admit that I drink entirely too many Cokes and Dr. Pepper's.  At work, I'll sometimes get a Mountain Dew.

As far as all diet drinks, my favorite is easily Diet Dr. Pepper.  It tastes the closest to the real thing than Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi do.

minimum calories, Maximum Pepsi taste!  Zizek says it is necessary to display bad taste on occasion to let people know that you do not have the very worst taste.... that is, pretending to have the best taste.  so I attach myself to a very few mass-produced consumer products, Pepsi Max one of them, and thus display that my anti-capitalism is not an act: after the revolution I will pine for Pepsi Max, and that withdrawal will but fuel my permanent-revolutionary virility.

What kind of person would make a diet soda poll and not leave an option for those of us who have taste - they all suck and one should only drink real soda.

I stopped drinking Diet Pepsi as soon as I discovered it is made out of people. As of now I drink Diet Coke and I must say that there is little difference between the two, thus making me wary...
