Out of curiosity, does McCain at least win a county?

Possibly a county that had only one or two blacks in it, but other than that, almost certainly not.

Exactly. A better question would be where McCain would have gotten at least 15% of the black vote.

Possibly a county that had only one or two blacks in it, but other than that, almost certainly not.

Looking at the least populous counties in the US (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_counties_with_less_than_1000_people), many did not have a single black person as of the 2000 Census, so those would be "ties". Maybe Borden County (http://"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borden_County,_Texas#Demographics)'s black guy voted McCain. Or possibly Banner County (http://"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banner_County,_Nebraska#Demographics)'s black guy, though he might have left by 2008.
