Well, there is one I've worked hard on it and which is IMO very nive to look at. It's the Senate History (https://uselectionatlas.org/AFEWIKI/index.php/Senate_History) one. I'd apreciate you to consider it for nomination. :)

Why, you little attention who...

This is actually one of those articles wiki can be proud of. I recommend Senate History to become first article of the month?

Any other proposals?

I'm in, and I approve of the Senate History article being honoured as our first article of the month.

Any other proposals, dear members?

Could we perhaps recommend that someone add a colour code to the Senate History article? I'm intrigued by what party Al's yellow term was for, for example.

Farmer-Labor Party.

But you are 100% right indeed. I will work on a color key as soon as possible. ;)

In the mean time, if you click the Senate # it should give you all the details.

I would be fine with the Senate History article as our first choice. I suppose this would be April's pick, then?

OK, once again I do chairman job here (unless you select me as Chairman :P) and...

Dear members, are you for selection of the Senate History to be Article of the Month?

(Aye)

Title: Re: Wiki Commission Thread
Post by: bgwah on March 15, 2011, 08:19:39 PM
Sure, I vote for the Senate History page to be April's Article of the Month.

What is this talk about Chairman, anyway? I don't recall ever specifying a Chairman, or requiring us to do so. I don't really mind if you serve as Chairman if you want to, but it might not be necessary when there are only three of us.

Ok, let then say we're sitting, buzzing with suggestions, until we all agree in a nice, unofficial fashion :)

BTW, the yellow for Al was the Farmer Labor Party.

I think it might be fun to pick a person or party. What about the National Liberal Coalition (https://uselectionatlas.org/AFEWIKI/index.php/National_Liberal_Coalition)?

Were you a Senate appointee?

Title: Re: Wiki Commission Thread
Post by: MASHED POTATOES. VOTE! on June 24, 2011, 02:30:36 PM

Yes (I was a citizen member) while you are a Senate member. We were both elected by the Senate.

Belgian is a presidential appointe (I named him while Acting President).

Title: Re: Wiki Commission Thread

If no one else is interested, I'd like to be the Senate's new appointee to the commission. :)

Alright, I've actually made a thread about it in the main Atlasia forum. I think you would be a good candidate, though. ;)

So, Belgian, any ideas for July? I'm thinking about trying the NLC's page again. ;)

So, time to think about the August article ?

If I can make a proposal, what about Kalwejt (http://ttp://uselectionatlas.org/AFEWIKI/index.php/Kalwejt)'s article ? It's pretty long and detailed. ;)

Title: Re: Wiki Commission Thread
Post by: bgwah on July 13, 2011, 08:25:02 PM
I think it would be good to do a person, since we haven't done one yet. I would personally lean towards an ex-member first, but I wouldn't mind doing a current member.

Title: Re: Wiki Commission Thread
Post by: tmthforu94 on July 13, 2011, 09:20:41 PM
I also am in favor of choosing a person. My top choice would be myself (:P), but taking that off the table, I would also agree with bgwah it should probably be someone who has been around for ages.

*Does some searching*

Some Suggestions:
Jas
Speed of Sound
ColinW

I checked, and all three have pretty substantial Wiki pages.

Title: Re: Wiki Commission Thread

I'd gladly go with ColinW's. It's amazingly long and detailed.

What if we chose a bill this time ? I think the https://uselectionatlas.org/AFEWIKI/index.php/Atlasian_National_Healthcare_Act could be a fine idea.

Title: Re: Wiki Commission Thread
Post by: bgwah on August 23, 2011, 04:38:37 PM
Are there anymore interesting laws? :D

This is a fun page: https://uselectionatlas.org/AFEWIKI/index.php/November_2008_Special_Senate_Election

Title: Re: Wiki Commission Thread
Post by: tmthforu94 on August 23, 2011, 08:54:52 PM
I personally think doing a law would be interesting, but to the average Atlasian, it wouldn't be. I can't see very many people actually taking the time to read it.

So basically, what bgwah said. :P

Title: Re: Wiki Commission Thread
Post by: bgwah on August 23, 2011, 09:17:22 PM
If we were to pick legislation, I think something like the Proportional Representation Act might be more interesting, since it more directly effects the actual game. But we already picked the Election Administrator's Guidebook, which is sorta similar, so meh.

I don't know, perhaps either the "Supreme Court Bar Act"? I'd be fine with the one you suggested, too. We could always do my motorcycle safety act (there's such a sad meaning behind that).

Okay, let's do a quick vote to settle this:

[  ] Atlasian National Healthcare Act
[  ] November 2008 Special Election

I vote:

[  ] Atlasian National Healthcare Act
[X] November 2008 Special Election
